Welcome to EDAS Montreal
One of the most cherished aspects of this deeply meaningful project holds a special place in our heart. A few summers back, Chantal had the privilege of interning at “La rue des Femmes,” a conscious Women’s Shelter in Montreal. The experience proved life-changing, introducing enduring life lessons and fostering profound soulful connections.
Montreal
Several years ago, we initiated a new tradition at EDAS: sending over 130 student-hand-painted bags and Christmas cards, now in French, to “La rue des Femmes.” This initiative, lovingly dubbed “Sending some West Coast Love,” aimed to spread joy to the incredible women at the shelter, who are truly deserving of love and care.
We extend heartfelt thanks to the students and teachers from École Robb Road in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, , for bringing this project to life with such heartfelt dedication with every hand crafted French Christmas card and hand painted EDAS Bag.
On Christmas morning the women’s community at “La rue des femmes” receive gifts from their staff that are adorned by Robb Road student’s heartfelt painted bags and homemade cards to remind them that they are not alone this Christmas season.
